The CRA Yearbook is a peer reviewed publication that is disseminated to over 400 members and more than 600 libraries worldwide. In addition, online access will be available through ERIC.

Call for Manuscripts
College Reading Association
Thirtieth Yearbook

All 2007 conference presenters are invited to submit manuscripts based on their presentation for possible publication in the College Reading Yearbook. The co-editors for Volume 30 are Francine Falk-Ross, Martha Foote, Mary Beth Sampson, and Susan Szabo. The CRA Yearbook is an annual, peer-reviewed publication. Conference presentation does not guarantee publication. To be considered, a manuscript must be previously unpublished.

All regular and institutional members receive the CRA Yearbook.  The CRA Yearbook is indexed and microfilmed by ERIC, which makes it widely available in university libraries.

Submission Requirements

Style:               

The content, organization, and style of manuscripts must follow the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (5th edition).

Format:        Length: 2,000 to 5,000 words

                    Abstract:          75-150 words

Title page:  Must include author(s) name(s), address(es), phone number(s), e-mail(s), affiliation(s), and date of submission.

Note:  Do not include names or affiliations on any other pages.

Special note:  

Authors must remove identifying information from their manuscripts to insure a fair review.  Specifically, if you cite your own work (and state in the paper it is your work), you should cite it as “author (date)” rather than giving your name.  Please do this both in text and the reference list.

Procedures: 

Manuscripts should be submitted electronically to the CRA Yearbook. Submit via e-mail to cra_yearbook@tamu-commerce.edu as attachments in both Word and Rich Text format. 

Manuscripts must be submitted electronically by January 15, 2008.
